Thread C - The Manager's Office

Marcy opens the door to her manager's office to see her manager staring at her. He's a slightly overweight, balding man in plain tan dress. His face is red and sweat covers his face.

[19] Marcy expects some kind of anger, but that doesn't match up with the manager's face. It's more... strained? Scared?

[Marceline Mori]

Okay, he seems scared. Was it the blood tentacles? Did someone catch up to me? Spot the fangs? Shit shit shit.
Attempting to hid her own fear, Marcy throws back on her sweet smile and puts on an air of innocence before asking her manager in a honeyed voice "Yes sir?"

"Would you... step into my office?" he asks, forcing the words.

Marceline cautiously steps into her managers office, and quickly scans the room for anything noteworthy. ((20 Perception check))
She quickly tries to hide her right arm behind her, standing in such a way to hide the gauntlet.

The door slams shut behind Marcy. She whips around and sees a man in a dark cloak wielding two long knives block the door. His cloak has trims of silver, and he's wearing an armored helm that's black and red. He looks annoyed that she turned around as quick as she did. "You have something that belongs to us..." he says in a raspy voice.

[Marceline Mori]

"Oh thank god. Its just someone trying to kill me. And here I thought I was about to get fired."
Then Marcy makes a punching motion towards the assassin, sending a blood tendril flying through the air.

The Assassin dodges her tendril and rushes forward, delivering a scissor slash with both black blades. Marcy leaps back but the tips of the blades still cut at her upper stomach - and decently deep for 14 damage.

"I. LOVED. THAT. DRESS!"
Marceline strikes again with the blood whip, this time hitting home with a solid hit to the assassins chest ((For 13 damage)). His own blood is sucked out and down through the tentacle. It wraps around Marceline in the same spot where the assassins knives hit flesh, and her skin grows back together again. The tendril continues its momentum, and the Assassin is thrown back 20 feet, crashing through the doorway and landing on his back in between two bar tables. Marceline follows the Assassin out the door, shouting back "Hey Bossman, just so you know, I quit!" before stopping 10 feet away from the Assassin.

"M-m-m-Marcy h-he said they had more men!!" The manager - Joshua - said before running and hiding under his desk.
